These "little kids" go fast!

Peru

Great Reasons to buy a Nigerian Dwarf

  •  "Little goats" are affordable to feed and easily maintained on smaller acreage.   "The perfect small farm   goat!

  •  Are you looking for your own home raised milk supply free of hormones and antibiotics?. A good doe produces between four and eight cups of milk daily. plenty for the average family to use. Homemade natural soap, cheese, pets  and orphaned animals all benefit from the excess.

  •  Dwarf goats are gentle, lovable and playful One reason Nigerians are growing in popularity is their great temperaments. They make wonderful pets and great projects for young children, handicapped, and 4-H. Nigerians are easily handled by young and old....Perhaps you have small children or grandchildren and are looking for something safe? Or perhaps you still want to continue to raise livestock, but would prefer something smaller and easier to manage? I've seen children as young as two and three lead these little goats around with ease. Each and every goat has a genuinely unique personality. I would consider most of them to be at least as smart, if not smarter than the family dog.

  •  The thrill of fun, friendly, competition. Goat shows are fun and goat people are wonderful I urge you to attend one soon!

  •  The desire to help a rare but recovering breed.

  •  Affordable  flashy horse companions. Everyone needs  friends :).

  •  Maybe you need some brush cleared?. Goats are not lawnmowers. If you are looking to maintain your grass. I urge you to look into sheep. But if you happen to have some brush and brambles that need to be cleared, goats, natural browsers, will be more than happy to quickly and efficiently take care of them for you.

  •  Last but not least. If you do any organic gardening....Nanny Berry Mulch is incredible. Either mixed into your compost pile or used directly as a fertilizer and mulch combo placed between your plants. Great around trees too. It contains no urea, which can burn and harm small seedlings.
